LTI Hosts FCSI K-12 Symposium
LTI has been a longtime supporter of Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) and its mission to provide educational programs and initiatives for its partners. Last week, we hosted 12 consultants for an Educator Provider Symposium with a concentration on K-12 foodservice. Consultants toured our factory, where they were able to see many pieces of custom foodservice equipment and learn about the flexibility we’ve incorporated into our serving technologies.
The second day was spent in a classroom setting hearing from several experienced foodservice professionals – topics ranging from the history of the National School Lunch Program and lessons learned from what went right/wrong with building projects to cutting-edge software and phone apps designed to streamline school food and increase participation. Many of the consultants and presenters had 20+ years in the foodservice industry, making for great collaboration among the group.
