LTI, Inc. Plans Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Headquarters Facility
JONESBORO, GA (Feb. 13, 2018) Today LTI, Inc. announces plans for a groundbreaking ceremony to be held at its new headquarters building on Thurs., Mar. 8 at 2:30 p.m. (Formal invitations will be sent.) The new facility, which is situated on the corner of Old Poston Rd. and Tara Blvd., will have 156,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and 16,500 sq. ft. of office space.
LTI, Inc. is a third-generation family owned and operated company that has been located in Jonesboro for nearly seven decades. Well known as one of the country’s leading innovators and manufacturers of custom foodservice equipment and décor, LTI’s customer base includes schools, universities, hospitals, supermarkets, restaurants, and the U.S. Navy. The privately held company employs 165 people and currently occupies almost 200,000 sq. ft., consisting of eight separate buildings located at 9192 Tara Blvd., next to the new property.
“We are incredibly excited to build a new headquarters facility for our organization,” says Ben Casey, president and chief executive officer. “It’s a huge decision for us, and I believe it shows our customers and employees we are confident about laying the groundwork for future growth. Jonesboro and Clayton County have been part of the fabric of who we are for the past 70 years.”
Barbara Casey Lane, chief operations officer, explains “We’ve outgrown our current facility, which leads to operational inefficiencies.” She continues, “We foresee process improvements in the design and layout of the new building. We’re highly focused on improving the flow and function of the manufacturing of our products – from the initial drafting concept to delivering to the customer.”
Building this new facility is part of the company’s strategic plan to grow revenue and provide skilled job opportunities, which will contribute to the overall economic growth and development here in Clayton County. LTI has been deeply rooted in Jonesboro since its inception and is committed to continuing to grow its business here. The building project should be completed by November 2018.
